All’Agritechnica di Hannover si è svolta nel giorno di apertura la fase finale del prestigioso premio europeo Tractor of the year®, ideato e coordinato dalla rivista Trattori. Un’edizione fortemente influenzata dal passaggio allo Stage IIIB sulle emissioni inquinanti per i trattori sopra i 175 cavalli. Selezionate dai venti giurati undici macchine, sette nella categoria campo aperto (Case IH Puma 230 Cvx, Deutz-Fahr Agrotron TTV 430, Fendt 724 Vario Scr, John Deere 7280R, Massey Ferguson 7624 Dyna-Vt, New Holland T8.390, Valtra T 213 Versu) e quattro in quella degli specializzati (Antonio Carraro TRH 9800, Bcs Invictus K 400, Carraro Agricube 100 VL, Landini 1-50 F). Lo scettro di Tractor of the year® 2012 se lo è aggiudicato il John Deere 7280R. Best of Specialized è invece l’Antonio Carraro TRH 9800, mentre il Golden Tractor per il miglior design tra i finalisti in gara spetta al Massey Ferguson 7624 Dyna-VT. Giunto alla quindicesima edizione, il Tractor of the year® si avvale della partecipazione di venti giornalisti, uno per nazione, in rappresentanza delle principali testate europee di settore. Ogni membro basa le proprie valutazioni sui risultati dei test effettuati nei mesi precedenti la premiazione, oltre a un'attenta valutazione dei dati tecnici di ciascun mezzo con particolare attenzione alle caratteristiche di motore, trasmissione, elettronica, equipaggiamento, comfort, rapporto prezzo/potenza e design. L'appuntamento è all'Eima di Bologna per la premiazione del Tractor of the year® 2013.

At Agritechnica on November 13th took place the European awarding ceremony of the Tractor of the Year 2012®. This award, now at is 15th year, stepped from an idea of TRATTORI magazine. This Edition was strongly influenced by the transition to Stage IIIB emissions for tractors over 175 hp. The 11 finalist tractors, for the two different categories, were selected by 20 jury members. Seven for the category "Open Field" (Case IH Puma 230 Cvx, Deutz-Fahr Agrotron TTV 430, Fendt 724 Vario Scr, John Deere 7280R, Massey Ferguson 7624 Dyna-Vt, New Holland T8.390, Valtra T 213 Versu). Four for the category "Specialized" (Antonio Carraro TRH 9800, Bcs Invictus K 400, Carraro Agricube 100 VL, Landini 1-50 F). Winners: Tractor of The Year 2011 is John Deere 7280R. Best of Specialized: Antonio Carraro TRH 9800. Golden Tractor for Design: Massey Ferguson 7624 Dyna-VT. The jury members are 20 from 20 different European countries, representing the most important magazines in Europe. Each jury member gives marks after field testing, with focus attention to all the technical characteristics such as engine, transmission, equipment, comfort, design. 2013 Tractor of The Year® prize giving ceremony, will be carried out at Eima in Bologna.
